Warranty & Repairs

All our products go through vigorous quality control directly from the manufacturer and supplier; and assurance testing to ensure that we bring high quality products that will last the distance. However in the rare occasion, if faults do happen, we’ve got excellent after-sales service with parts and technicians that will get your equipment up and running again.

If you have a faulty or damaged product, please email through to letschat@outdoorslifestyle.com.au with supporting pictures, your order number and basic details. Our team are quick and will normally replies within one business day.

Warranty Policy

Our warranty only applies to the original purchaser from where the purchase was made from our www.kidstoyswarehouse.com.au online store and is strictly not transferable. If the serial number is removed, altered or defaced, the warranty is void. All warrantees commence on the date of purchase.

Call Outs

Our warranty period only covers parts replacement and does not include call-outs which will be separately charged. Please note that in some areas, call outs may not be available. Additional labour charges may apply for any additional work performed on-site.

Missing Parts or Damage on Arrival

If a customer believes that the product does not include all necessary parts or they are missing a part of the delivery, they must contact us immediately via email or text us at 0485 826 573. It is the customer's duty to check they have all the relevant parts when the item is delivered.

If our courier's tracking states all parts are delivered and we are not informed of any missing parts or that the product was damaged, within 3 months on arrival, we will not approve this claim.

Please do not attempt to use a product if any part is incomplete, unless advised by our staff. Any damage that the user causes as a result of using incomplete products will lead to voiding of the warranty. 

Warranty Terms and Conditions

*Our terms and conditions laid out does not limit any statutory rights which may be available to the Australian consumer in respect of the product, including those under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • All warrantees provided are conditional upon family domestic use of the product. Use of any product for commercial purposes - including, but not limited to, use in play centres, community organisations, schools, child care centres and amusement parts - will void the product's listed warranty period.
  • All warrantees apply to the original purchaser only.
  • All warrantees commence on the date of purchase.
  • Our guarantee against rust on the frame causing damage will only cover natural rust build up in cases of manufacturer fault. Any external damages to the structure causing chipping of the galvanising paint or any non-manufacturer fault will not be covered by this specific warranty.
  • Failure to service the equipment in accordance with the user manual’s specifications and recommendations will void your warranty. For example, any rust spots on steel frames need to be properly extracted via wire brushes and protected with galvanized paint to prevent further corrosion. Timber components exposed to harsh weathering will need to be re-coated & re-sealed with appropriate lacquer and/or water-based sealant to preserve the wood rot/insect damage warranty.
  • All warrantees covering rust causing failure, does not cover products situated at excessively high-moisture or high-salt water content areas. This includes sea-side or if the products are in direct exposure to salt water elements, assembled within 1.5km of a salt water environment or subject to ocean spray. 
  • Timber surface cracks are normal and will not affect the structural integrity of your product. This is not considered a fault under warranty.
  • Our warranty against wood rot and insect damage does not cover termite damage & infestation.
  • Any modifications made to the equipment will void the warranty. This does not include maintenance, anchoring (using anchor units provided) or replacing damaged parts with other model parts.
  • Only fittings and accessories we recommend should be used with the products or your warranty may be invalidated.
  • Our warranty does not apply to ordinary wear & tear of the product. This may include, but is not limited to:
    • Rusting of steel components,
    • UV Deterioration of textile components,
    • Stretching of springs or springless mats
    • Comestic Issues, including but not limited to scratches, dents, marring, natural fading or fading of colours, discolouration and the weathering of wood (including but not limited to raised grain, splitting, checking, twist, warping shrinkage, swelling or any other physical property of the wood). Weathering does not include fungal decay or rot. Weathering does include surface mold and mildew fungi-associated with the weathering of the wood. 
  • Liability is limited to the faulty part, which will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
  • The Warranty only applies to purchases made in Australia, and the item must be kept in Australia.
  • The Warranty does not cover any installation service. Any installation service ordered over the website or with a staff member, is a one-time service. The customer may not claim installation costs for any replacement parts under any circumstnaces. If it is determined that installation has commenced and the customer is missing or does not have the correct parts, Lifespan Kids will cover the cost for the installer to return and complete the installation once the correct parts have been received. 
  • The Warranty will be void if the product’s fault arises from abuse, incorrect installation, inappropriate usage, weather related damage or Acts of god.
  • Having the product assembled by a professional assembler will not extend the warranty term.
  • Damage resulting from:
    - Transportation 
    - Abuse, misuse, excessive use, failure to follow instructions, improper or abnormal usage;
    - Alteration, modification, defective installation;
    - Unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications from an unauthorised third party.
    - Animals or Pests;
  • Consumable or Expendable parts such as paint and finish is not covered under warranty, and is considered ordinary wear & tear.

Nothing in this warranty policy limits or excludes any guarantees, warranties, representations or conditions implied or imposed by law, including the Australian Consumer Law ("ACL") (or any liability under them) which by law may not be limited or excluded. If you are a "consumer" under the ACL, the following notice applies to you:

"Our goods come with warranties and guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law ("Consumer Guarantees"). You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure."

Warranty Period Details (Lifespan Kids only)

For Lifespan Kids products, we provide full minimum 12 months warranty coverage on all new products sold, excluding the Little Builder 2 Play Set.

Exclusive Warranties or Extended warranties may apply a longer warranty period for different types of products. Please refer to below table.
